Development Coordinator – Beardsley Farm

About Beardsley Farm:

CAC Beardsley Community Farm is an urban educational farm that promotes food security and sustainable agriculture. Beardsley’s goal is to increase food security in Knoxville through produce donations, accessible education, and land and resources for gardening. Beardsley Farm grows over 10,000 pounds of produce on about four-acres of productive land with the help of over 1,000 annual volunteers.

Position Summary:
  • Strengthen relationships between Beardsley Farm’s produce donation sites and clients through increased communication, a streamlined ordering process, and needs assessments
  • Assist with food distribution and garden programs
  • Assist with fundraising and event planning
  • Assist with marketing and social media campaigns
  • Work and connect with community partners and sponsors
  • Manage donors
  • Assist with planning and promoting community and fundraising events
  • Foster a safe and enjoyable place for community members at the farm
