Program Coordinator – Keep Sevier Beautiful

About Keep Sevier Beautiful:

Keep Sevier Beautiful is a non-profit organization focusing on our community’s environment. We have four main areas of focus: Litter Prevention, Recycling/Waste Reduction, Education, and Beautification. Our Mission is “To motivate and educate Sevier County residents and guests to take greater responsibility for our community’s environment.”

Position Summary:

The primary goal of the Program Coordinator is to organize special events to promote the mission of Keep Sevier Beautiful. This position focuses on four main areas, organizing special events for KSB, promoting KSB at events, building a strong volunteer base and environmental education.

  • Coordinate details of special events hosted by KSB.
  • Community recycling drop-off events.
  • Community cleanup events.
  • Community beautification projects.
  • Coordination of volunteers.
  • Maintain social media to include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Website.
  • Support for programming planning and implementation.
  • Assist in development and coordination of fundraising events.
  • Pre and post data required for special events.
  • Participation in community organization/activities to promote KSB.
  • KSB newsletter.
  • Volunteer recruitment.
  • Assist Education Coordinator in classroom settings.

  • Ability to speak in public.
  • Computer experience…Microsoft Office word processing, database and spreadsheet.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Able to work cooperatively with others.
  • Able to maintain dependable work attendance including evenings and weekends for special events.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on time.
