Recruiting for the 2018-2019 service year starting on August 6th, 2018

Knox County Stormwater member assist the county’s efforts to carry out a variety of duties to help the department meet requirements within the the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) framework established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  The primary duty of the Knox County Stormwater AmeriCorps Members will be to provide outstanding service in carrying out its mission to comply with water quality regulations , while exercising professionalism, enthusiasm, and creativity.  Being a part of the Knox County AmeriCorps Team provides an excellent opportunity to build your resume and skill set.  The AmeriCorps member will gain experience working with GPS & GIS technology, in project development, and public education and outreach.
