Outreach Coordinator – Angelic Ministries International

Angelic Ministries is a Knoxville-based nonprofit that serves individuals and families in crisis through a faith-inspired, dignity-driven approach. From its 72,000 sq. ft. warehouse, Angelic provides essential household goods, clothing, and food to those in need. The organization also offers transitional housing and workforce development for men in recovery or reentry, helping them rebuild their lives with stability, purpose, and hope.

Position Summary:
  • Build and strengthen relationships with local churches, nonprofits, and community partners
  • Represent Angelic Ministries at outreach events and community meetings
  • Create and schedule content for social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement
  • Assist with writing, designing, and sending monthly newsletters and donor updates
  • Support storytelling efforts by gathering photos, testimonials, and impact stories from program participants
  • Maintain and update contact lists and outreach records
  • Collaborate with staff to promote events, volunteer opportunities, and donation drives
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and trainings to stay aligned with Angelic’s mission and programs

The member(s) in this position will have the opportunity to gain the following skills/credentials:

  • Build experience in community outreach, partnership development, digital communications, and grassroots marketing
  • Sharpen skills in content creation, public relations, and mission-centered communication
  • Deepen their understanding of trauma-informed care, dignity-centered service, and the social determinants of poverty
  • Opportunity to receive training in platforms such as Canva, Mail Services, and Salesforce for managing digital and donor communications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Social media familiarity
  • Basic computer proficiency
