About Family Promise of Knoxville:

Family Promise of Knoxville utilizes community-wide resources, donations, congregational spaces, and volunteers to meet the needs of folks experiencing the trauma of homelessness. Through a 90-day stay in an emergency shelter anchored by more than 1700 local volunteers, families receive food, shelter, and a communal response to their hardest season. Together, our volunteers, board members, clergy, and staff offer a dynamic setting for families to move from survival to thriving. We are committed to providing trauma-informed care and keeping families together. We believe that families piecing their lives together after losing the stability of housing deserve – at the very least – to be sheltered together.
